On a regular basis, we will sit down with a CallSource employee to get to know them and their role a bit more.
CallSource prides ourselves on being a people-focused company. We care about our clients, and we care about our employees.
The support-client relationship formed between our teams and our clients is one of the unique attributes that makes CallSource stand out from our competition.
Although clients know their dedicated support team very well, we thought it was time that everyone else got to know all of the great people that work at CallSource with regular CallSource team member interviews.
Kicking off our soon-to-be regular interview posts is an interview I had with Tiffany Tran, a Business Advisor here at CallSource.
Read on to get to know Tiffany and her role a bit more.
Name: Tiffany Tran
Title: Business Advisor
When did you start working for CS? February of 2013
What position did you start in?
I first started at CallSource as a Sales Opener also known as an SDR (Sales Development Representative).
I was essentially booking appointments for our sales team. I moved officially over to a sales rep position but, I really had a desire to work with clients and get to know them on a personal level which led me to my current role.
What is your current position?
Currently, I am a Business Advisor in our home and health spaces.
And what’s a typical day in the life of Tiffany at CS look like? Although I’m sure, there is no “typical!”
Typically, my day starts with assessing any client needs that may have come in from the previous day and prioritizing any client requests.
The rest of my day typically consists of meeting with clients to talk about anything from their data in the system to how to help improve their office culture with things like incentive plans.
Every day is different and dictated by the needs of my clients. This is one of the many reasons I love my job. My days have similarities, but there are always new challenges and different ways of solving them.
You mentioned the variety in your days being one of the reasons why you love your job. What would you say that you like most about your job here at CallSource?
Helping people is what brings me into the office every day. Getting to know my clients and how I can help them grow their businesses both using their business data to increase revenue but using that data to support other aspects like- training, culture, and operations. CallSource is all about our clients’ data but applying that data and helping my clients understand how to use it is really rewarding.
That’s great! I know that’s what we all strive to do for our clients. Tell me, what’s one of the greatest client stories or accomplishments that you’ve had in your career here so far?
This is a tough question to answer. There are so many client stories over the years that have been memorable as many of the client successes I have witnessed have been huge for those clients individually.
My favorite client moment, however, was meeting a client for the first time face to face after working with her for a few years. The sheer joy in meeting a client who became a friend face-to-face after so long was truly memorable.
She ran up to me on a trade show floor and gave me the biggest hug ever. It surprised everyone in our booth – and me – but in the best kind of way. I strive to make all of my client relationships like that one. Imagine getting to work with clients every day that you consider friends; it makes my job really fun and enjoyable.
Switching gears a bit here; you are married to another CallSource employee…why don’t you briefly tell us what that’s like and how you met?
That I am! Initially it was a little strange working together. Now that we have worked together for over 5 years it seems like it is just a natural thing.
The office would feel really weird without him here that is for sure. Contrary to popular belief, we did not meet at CallSource. We actually met through a non-profit group doing a triathlon. We had never met before and the office I worked in at the time just so happened to share a parking lot with CallSource. What a small world!
And you are also now pregnant. I think this will be our second CallSource couple baby!
Yes, second I think! It is really exciting as we have both been with the company for so long that work feels like an extension of our family and we have so much support here surrounding this pregnancy.
Definitely! We can’t wait to meet that little one when the time comes. Alright, random question time. What’s your current favorite binge-worthy show?
My current TV show would have to be The Good Wife. I know I am late to the game with this show, but I am completely hooked!
And how about the last book you read (or are currently reading?)
I tend to read a lot! I am a sucker for romance novels…but these days my daily reading revolves around pregnancy books.
Favorite summer song?
I don’t know that I could pinpoint a specific song but, I am obsessed with the new Panic at the Disco album – Pray for the Wicked.
Lastly…what is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I love the beach or anything relating to the water. Being in or around the water is truly my happy place. That and spending time with my dogs, which is a pretty close second.
